Yoga + Art is the perfect combination for kids! We will begin each class with a yoga practice that will include work with basic yoga poses, breathing exercises, and short meditations. Our practice will calm the body and mind, and get the creative juices flowing to prepare us for a guided, explorative painting session inspired by the colors of the chakras.
The benefits of yoga for children include stress relief, balance of high or low energy levels, improved concentration and focus, and a boost in imagination and creativity. In this series, we will have fun, encourage confidence, build self-esteem, and teach relaxation and coping techniques.
Class meets Mondays 3:45pm - 5:00pm, September 14, 21, 28, & October 5th
