Discover new limits of physical and mental stamina with an exploration into Yin Yoga. This style of yoga is a downtempo, meditative practice. Although the practice is slower, it can be quite challenging*. Yin postures are held for long periods of time (5+ minutes) to promote healthy physical responses from the joints and deeper connective tissues of the body.
Longing for some stillness in our fast paced, high energy world? Finding difficulty being receptive to personal needs? Let us look to the sky and embrace the calming energy of the moon. In honor of November’s full moon, join Janna Westmoreland for a special Lunar Celebration yoga flow.
Make time for self care. This all-levels class is designed to calm the mind and release tension in the body. We begin with a few minutes of gentle movement to warm up the body before settling into restorative postures. With the use of props, we hold the postures to passively open the body. The instructor offers hands-on assists, guided relaxation, and breath work throughout the class. This gentle practice will relieve stress and pain in the body so that you feel relaxed, calm, and balanced.
