Policies

 

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you pre-register for a class, you are able to cancel your registration 2 hours prior to the start time of class. If you do not cancel 2 hours before your class, your account will be charged for that class.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY:

Please cancel any appointments 24 hours in advance or you will not receive a refund. There are no refunds for no shows and if your appointment was not canceled 24 hours in advance.

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:

Purchases for workshops are non-refundable. If you were unable to attend due to an emergency or illness, please contact the studio via phone or email and we will provide a full refund or credit to your account.

STUDIO:

No phones are allowed in the studio space where our classes take place. We have cubbies for your belongings, trays for your shoes and hooks for your coats. We have one bathroom and a changing space for people to use while at the studio. Please be respectful of our studio, our teachers and your fellow students.

SIGN IN:

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before class to sign in, pay if needed, and settle in before class.

LATE POLICY:

All teachers will lock the studio doors at the start of each class. If you are running late, please call 617-866-9332 to let us know. If we don't answer, not to worry as we will be checking the phone before the door locks to make sure it is left open for anyone running late.

RATE POLICIES:

Class Cards: Expire 1 year after date of purchase, can be shared with friends and family, not valid for workshops or series classes. Class cards will be charged if students sign up and cancel within 2 hours of class start time.

4 Class Pass Monthly: 4 classes available per month. Classes expire at the end of each month. Cancel anytime. Not valid for workshops or series.

Membership: Unlimited classes, plus 1 guest pass per month. Initial 3-month commitment required, then cancel anytime. Not valid for workshops or series classes.

30 Day Unlimited: Valid 30 Days from first date of use.  Cannot be shared. Not valid for workshops or series.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:

In order to ensure the safety of our instructors and students during inclement weather, we may have to cancel our regular scheduled classes.

Students will be provided notice of class cancellation at least 2 hours before class but we will try our best to provide more notice if possible.

We will make the decision to cancel class based on the following conditions:

  • State declares a state of emergency and recommends staying off the roads.

  • Belmont public schools are cancelled for the day.

  • Current state of weather conditions.

  • Collaboration with instructor to determine their level of comfort driving based on current weather and road conditions.

No less than 2 hours before we will inform you if class is cancelled by sending the below communications:

  • Text/email to any students who pre-registered for a particular cancelled class (please make sure in MindBody that we have a way to contact you).

  • Facebook/Instagram post.

  • Announcement Bar on the top of our web site

WORKSHOP CANCELLATIONS RELATED TO SNOW

The same factors and conditions that determine cancelling a class because of weather applies to cancelling a workshop due to weather. Safety is extremely important.

Snow Date

Should a workshop need to be cancelled because of weather, the instructor and owner will determine the soonest date and time (similar to original schedule) the studio can offer a “SNOW DATE”.

Student Compensation

Normally workshops are non-refundable. But if the studio is cancelling or rescheduling a workshop due to weather, students will be offered the following:

  • Option to attend “Snow Date”.

  • Option for full refund.
