Groundwork Girls (Ages 10-13)

Groundwork Girls is a 6-week class series that guides girls ages 10-13 to find their true voice through yoga, breath work, creativity, self-reflection and mindfulness. Each class is one hour. Through art projects, games, journaling, yoga sequences and mindfulness exercises, students learn how to look inward for their own guidance. Students are taught to handle stress in a constructive way, self-care practices, self-awareness, how to create and maintain healthy relationships and how to love themselves.

6-week series on Wednesdays, March 20th - May 1st: NO CLASS on April 17th, 4:15pm - 5:15pm.  $81 per child.  Register here.

Our kids yoga classes include work with basic yoga poses, breathing exercises, games, and short meditations. We have fun, encourage confidence, build self-esteem, and teach relaxation and coping techniques. Toddler yoga provides a fun and safe environment to move and play. It combines songs, yoga postures, stories, and activities. Tots are encouraged to watch or try the postures during class. They can playfully practice yoga postures while they are walking, jumping, sitting, and standing. They become more confident in their bodies as they practice yoga in class. Parent/Caregiver participation is a must as it encourages your child to join in. No yoga experience is required.

Toddler Yoga 4-Week Series (ages walking - 4)

Toddler yoga provides a fun and safe environment to move and play. It combines songs, yoga postures, stories, and activities. Tots are encouraged to watch or try the postures during class. They can playfully practice yoga postures while they are walking, jumping, sitting, and standing. They become more confident in their bodies as they practice yoga in class. Parent/Caregiver participation is a must as it encourages your child to join in. No yoga experience is required.

4-week series on Saturdays, February 16th - March 9th, 11:00am - 11:30am. $40 per child. Register here.

Our One Love Slow Flow class begins with a slower-paced vinyasa practice, moving with attention to the breath and alignment to calm the mind and open up the body. Move to the sounds of Reggae's love songs. We will restore flexibility, build strength, and then settle into stillness with restorative and yin postures to melt away tension and stress, leaving you feeling recharged and renewed. This class is appropriate for all levels, including beginners.

The class will feature thoughtfully sequenced and appropriately paced flows of postures (asanas) with strong emphasis on proper alignment, breath, personal awareness and individual attention. You will flow continuously through a joyful and challenging sequence of traditional Sun Salutations and standing postures linking breath to movement. Classes are an athletic and invigorating physical experience, with the beneficial outcome of calming the mind and relieving stress, leaving you feeling grounded. Modifications and variations of the postures are offered so that beginners and intermediate students can flow together. (Knowing the basics of yoga is helpful, but not essential.)

Our family yoga classes offer children and caregivers an opportunity to strengthen family connections while having fun and being active. Family classes include individual and partner work with basic poses, breathing exercises, games and relaxation. Caregivers can attend with 1-2 children ages 5-10. Adult class prices apply. Kids are free! Simply sign up with your adult class pass/membership, or purchase an adult "drop-in" class. Waiver for child is required upon check in.

Aquarius rules the lower legs, making the focus of the practice on strengthening the shins and ankles through a combination of active and restorative postures. Essential oils will be used to improve circulation as well as cultivate the positive qualities of the sign such as idealism and friendliness. Music by famous Aquarians will set the mood and add a little extra fun. Class will be 75 minutes long and suitable for all levels.

Kids Yoga: 6-week Sunday Winter Series (Ages 5-10)

Our kids yoga classes include work with basic yoga poses, breathing exercises, and short meditations. We have fun, encourage confidence, build self-esteem, and teach relaxation and coping techniques. The benefits of yoga for children include stress relief, balance of high or low energy levels, improved concentration and focus, and a boost in imagination and creativity.

Groundwork Girls (Ages 10-13)

Groundwork Girls is a 6-week class series that guides girls ages 10-13 to find their true voice through yoga, breath work, creativity, self-reflection and mindfulness. Each class is one hour. Through art projects, games, journaling, yoga sequences and mindfulness exercises, students learn how to look inward for their own guidance. Students are taught to handle stress in a constructive way, self-care practices, self-awareness, how to create and maintain healthy relationships and how to love themselves.

6-week series on Wednesdays, January 23rd - March 6th: NO CLASS on February 20th, 4:15pm - 5:15pm.  $81 per child.  Register by January 22nd here.
