Trauma Sensitive Yoga

Trauma Sensitive Yoga uses elements of traditional hatha yoga where students move into various physical forms. Invitatory language and choices are consistent throughout the class to allow students to determine how their practice unfolds. Interoception is introduced to allow students a way to notice what sensations or feelings arrive in their bodies. There are no hands on assists given and all physical forms are demonstrated by the facilitator.
